What ICON Stands For?ICON: Baby Crying

ICON is all about helping people who care for babies to cope with crying. ICON promotes the prevention of child maltreatment with a particular focus on the devastating form of child abuse that is Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) in infants.

ICON stands for ….

* I – Infant crying is normal

* C –Comforting methods can help

* O – It’s OK to walk away

* N – Never, ever shake a baby
