Young People's Drug and Alcohol Team - Drug and Alcohol Training Day

This full-day training course, delivered by The Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Team, aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of popular substances, their effects and potential impacts on individuals, families and communities.

The training will explore current substance-use trends and how to recognise potential signs of substance use. Participants will also develop an understanding of how to respond appropriately and provide effective support within the boundaries of their professional role.

The course is designed to increase knowledge, confidence and awareness, enabling professionals to better identify concerns, have informed conversations and appropriately support young people and others who may be affected by substance use.
