Understanding Early Help Support, MASH and the referral process

The training will aim to assist professionals in understanding St Helens Description of Needs and consider the steps that can be taken and tools that can be utilised, prior to making a referral to Children’s social care and any barriers in relation to this.

We will also consider how we can make good quality referrals to Children’s social care and look at some case examples to hopefully enhance professionals’ confidence in recognising when it is appropriate to make a referral to Children’s social care.
