About the course
All staff within every organisation must have training on how to safeguard children, this eLearning provides a basic understanding of safeguarding children.
Individual staff will require different levels of competence depending upon their role and degree of contact with children, young people and families, the nature of their work and their level of responsibility.
This basic safeguarding children awareness e-learning will support practitioners
- To recognise the significance of safeguarding and accountability as a practitioner working with families
- To increase understanding and how to action any worries about the safety and welfare of children.
Accessing the E-learning course:
You must have a registered training account on the SCP website in order to book a place.
Please note this is a virtual training course and will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
