Pause - Breaking the Cycle

PAUSE Breaking the Cycle - a joint collaboration between PAUSE St Helens and St Helens Integrated Sexual Health Team

This training is available for bookings and will either be delivered as face to face training or be delivered virtually, subject to government changes in responses to the pandemic. If you book onto this course you will receive an email a few days before the delivery date to confirm the correct platform being used. Thanks for your patience!

Course objectives:
* Learn about the Pause model, the latest research into repeat removals of children, and programme outcomes.

* Critically consider the impact of language on our ability to engage with families who are affected by domestic abuse. Consider how we can do things differently by adopting trauma informed approaches.

* Hear Pause women’s voices and listen to their stories. Reflect on how this can influence and improve our own practice with vulnerable families.

* Develop knowledge and skills to be able to hold meaningful conversations about sexual health and contraception with young people and families.
