Operation Encompass for Schools & Early Years (including Childminders)
Operation Encompass is an initiative from the Police to support children within educational settings to get the appropriate support they need if they have witnessed domestic abuse/violence at home. Merseyside Police have also extended this initiative locally to include Early Years.
This training is CPD accredited and should be completed by all professionals receiving Operation Encompass notifications. (All those working with children including school governors can also undertake this training.) This online training will give the nominated 'Key Adult' the knowledge and understanding they will need to fulfil this important role should the need arise within their setting.
