Multi-Agency Chronologies
Findings from numerous case reviews including recent local reviews, have highlighted that a multi-agency chronology could have supported the earlier identification of risks to the child(ren). This sessions aims to:
- Explore the benefits of multi-agency chronologies and to offer practical support and guidance on completing them.
- Explore how a single agency chronology benefits and supports the multi-agency chronology.
- Build practitioners' confidence in developing and analysing multi-agency chronologies.
- Demonstrate the importance of speaking about significant events with the child, to better understand their lived experiences to inform the multi-agency chronology.
- Enable practitioners and their managers to use multi-agency chronologies as a tool to identify and analyse past, current and future risk, harm and patterns of behaviours and inform decision making
