Family Group Conference Awareness Training
The Family Group Conference Team is based within the Edge of Care Service, St Helens Children's Social Care.
At a family-led meeting, we facilitate the family working with the Local Authority to address safeguarding concerns in the form of a family-led plan.
The Family Group Conference Awareness Training is suitable for Children's Social Care staff or multi-agency partners (particularly education, health, housing, CGL, YPDAAT, Catch 22 and probation) or any agency working within the Borough.
The session will provide information on the following areas, to support practitioners gain a further understanding in the model and principles, the process and the required role of the practitioner in family group conferencing.
