Family Group Conference Awareness Training

The Family Group Conference Team is based within the FaST service (Families Staying Together) as part of St Helens Children's Social Care.
At a family-led meeting, we facilitate the family working with Early Help/Children's Social Care to address what needs to happen, based on the worries of service providers/family, in the form of a family-led plan.
The Family Group Conference Awareness Training is suitable for Children's Social Care/Early Help staff or other multi-agency partners (particularly education, health, housing, CGL, YPDAAT, Catch 22 and probation) or any other agency working within the Borough.

The session will provide information on the following areas, to support practitioners gain a further understanding in the model and principles, the process and the required role of the practitioner in Family Group Conferencing.
