Appropriate Adults Training
This e-learning is designed to support and guide you in understanding the responsibilities of the Appropriate Adult role should you be asked to act in this capacity within you role.
It provides an overview of the purpose of an Appropriate Adult, what may be expected of you and how to effectively support vulnerable children and young people during police procedures.
Before undertaking duties as an Appropriate Adult, please discuss your suitability with your line manager to ensure that the role aligns with your current responsibilities and that you and your agency have the appropriate support and/or training in place.
